I love chess and I have an iPhone. I also finally have a MacBook Pro, so now I can program for the iPhone too! I’ve noticed that while there are plenty of engines on the iPhone (some of which are better than others), there’s not really a market for database apps or apps which strictly do notation. That’s where I come in – this is my blog about what it’s like to try and code some of this stuff for the iPhone! Hopefully I’ll have something to submit to the App Store soon.

Hi. Are you offering cbase for download any other way than itunes? If not, what about betas for the next version?
iTunes is the only way to get apps. I don’t have any plans to try and release it as a jailbreak download. It’s free, though, so there should be no need to not use iTunes to get it.
